[ Breathing him in, Clara only pulls back to slowly sit up, testing her limbs. She feels alright and draws him closer. She draws her legs around his hips, not for anything other than to allow him to be as close as he can, her head resting against his chest. ]

You can't destroy the universe. We've been through this. [ She nuzzles him, breathing him in. ] But I know you would never stop for me. I've never doubted it.

[twelfthsong]

[He knows and he begrudgingly agrees giving her a chaste kiss.]

I suspect you weren't the only one that needs an antidote. [He gently untangles himself from her and holds out a hand.] Shall we?

[makemeasong]

[ Taking his hand Clara slides down, relieved to be steady on her feet. ]

We shall. And then I shall take a bath and get the spider entrails out of my hair. [ She grimaces a little but she's been covered in worse and it can wait. ]

[twelfthsong]

It could be camouflage though. The spiders aren't giant anymore but they didn't leave. [He's teasing of course as he leads her into the lab where he had been mixing the antidote.]

I'll need you to collect a couple more spiders. In hindsight we should have tried to keep at least one of them big enough to mix more antidotes. [He gathers another jar from the shelf and hands Clara a little net that's also there.]

[makemeasong]

[ Clara wrinkles her nose. ]

The things I do for love. By a couple do you mean 'fill up this entire jar?'

[twelfthsong]

[The Doctor grins, pulling her in for a quick kiss. His wife. His brave, kind wife.]

As many as you can. We'll distribute as much as we can after that.

[makemeasong]

I hope you know that after this, you're bathing me. [ As if that's a threat. She kisses him again, then one more time for good measure, sweetly. ]

And I'd like the Roman bath. Please. [ Clara flashes him a grin and then she's gone, off to help save the day. ]
