You're a lightweight. And I don't even give Phoebe piggybacks. You must be special. [ He's heard many people call him their hero, but there's something about hearing Clara say it, even teasingly, that warms his heart. He draws her leg even further over him, squeezing at her thigh. ] If you want plants, you're watering them... [ He can't see himself becoming a Plant Dad, but that's what they all say. ]
Do you want an indoor swimming pool or is that too much? [ He thinks about that for a moment before he realizes something. ] Actually, fuck that. Phoebe would be over every day.... Unless we have one but don't tell her about it. [ Would it be easy to hide a swimming pool in your house? ]

You are now, thanks babe. You in glasses is new wank material for the nights you have to abandon me for your passion. The passion that keeps you fit...so I can't complain very much. At all.
[ Even as she says it, one hand moves over his abs. Is she objectifying him? Hell yes, but she'd be willing to bet his next paycheck he doesn't mind. He keeps drawing her closer, and Clara keeps letting him, wondering if she'll wind up right back on top of him. ]
Don't worry, no plant fatherhood for you yet. We could start with a cactus, though. When you're ready, no pressure. [ She laughs while leaning in to kiss him, letting it be silly. They've never talked about kids though; she loves having Phoebe over, but she goes home. Does she want kids? Does Roy? She's realizing she doesn't have a strong opinion against the idea, but she only needs Roy. She doesn't even feel like it's something they need to talk about. She has an IUD, and it's never been an issue. So, the thought comes and goes before she's pondering the pool idea. ]
I want an indoor pool. You said it, now I want it. And I work with kids all day, I can handle Pheobe. She can spend the night every single time you're away and then when she wants Uncle Roy time, it's far away from our pool.
[ There is a second choice, however. ]
Or, we could get a decoy pool outside that's just for Phoebe, we could put a fucking slide on it. Is that too many pools?

Remind me to show you football videos of me ten years ago to add to your wank bank. If you think I'm fit now, you should have seen me playing for Chelsea.
[ He's not as fit as he used to be thanks to his knee, and he doesn't work out in the gym the way he used to back when he was a player, but coaching Jamie one-on-one definitely helped him maintain his abs. ]
My passion for you keeps me fit. [ He adds cheekily, and maybe he is trying to pull her on top of him again, but that's her fault for using her tongue on him. That always gets him in the mood.
The word 'fatherhood' scares Roy, though less so in the context of plants. Personally he thinks he'd be a shitty parent because he never felt love from his own, separated from them at such a young age. He thinks he'd probably let Clara down, do something to fuck up their kid the way he's always scared he's fucking up Phoebe with the worst parts of himself. The topic of children is something they ought to discuss, but probably not on the same night they've confessed their love for each other and have decided to live together. ]
We don't need a cactus. You've got me, remember? [ Her lovable prick.
He never would have thought of a decoy pool. This is why he loves her mind. ] You're a fucking genius. It's so sexy...
[ Plot twist: now he's on top of her. ]

I don't need ten-years-ago-Roy. I need right-now-Roy. [ One leg hooks over his hip. ] And that Roy gave me plenty of material volunteering in his sister's garden. All sweaty and shirtless...a little dirty.
[ Oh yeah, she's all good on material to get off on. All of it involves Roy, and none of it includes him crying. Except maybe when she thinks back on this night later, but she was crying too, and it was a moment of love. Later, when they get around to having a conversation about kids, he'll find there's no direction he could go that would disappoint her. Spoilers, though. ]
How exactly do you plan to reward your sexy, incredibly hilarious, genius?
[ She had to add a bit of flair. ]

You were drooling in front of my sister. You're lucky she likes you. More than me, in fact, but that's no surprise.
[ He and his sister have been close ever since Phoebe was born, though they're not the kind of siblings to share feelings. They support each other with actions rather than words. Volunteering to do her sister's garden is how he expresses his love more than throwing money at her she wouldn't accept anyway. She'll give him a wordless hug whenever he needs one. ]
Hmm... [ His fingers trace her nipples as he thinks. ] I could make you whatever you want for breakfast tomorrow. [ Cooking is one of his love languanges. ] What do you fancy?

I happen to like you more than everyone, I hope that makes it better.
[She grins at him, then her breath hitches in the back of her throat at his touch. Damn him, for knowing exactly what he's doing, too. ]
Anything I want? Pancakes and an omelet? And coffee, obviously, fresh brewed.
[ Clara's had to start running again just because of how good Roy's food is, that hidden ability just one of the perks of taking her time to really get to know him and everything he's capable of. She loves it all, all of him, and especially that he wants to cook for her. ]
